Here is a bit more about me:
Good afternoon, Rescue Partners,   I hope this email finds you well! This plea is for Chief a 6yo male Yorkie Mix weighing 13lbs. On August 26th, a citizen called regarding a stray yorkie they found wandering Fountain Glen Drive in Lawrenceville. Unfortunately, when the citizen attempted to pick up Chief, he bit them on the hand leaving a very small mark. One of our road officers went out and impounded him as a stray with no form of identification and transported him to the shelter for bite quarantine.   Chief has completed his bite quarantine as of September 5thand has received basic intake vetting. He isn’t very fond of being restrained and attempted to bite during triage. A previous owner called and stated they rehomed Chief a few months ago because he was snappy with their husband and children.   Chief has his moments where he is affectionate and very easy going, but when things do not go his way, he begins to act up. His behavior leads us to believe he is used to getting his way and lacks manners and discipline. We know a behavior dog is a lot to take on, but our hope is someone has the space and time to work with him on proper doggy etiquette.   If you can find it in your heart to help Chief, it would be greatly appreciated! PLEASE reach out to me for more information. If you can’t pull him, PLEASE help us promote him to other rescue organizations you may know. You can contact me at 678-245-2447 or by email at AnimalRescue@GwinnettCounty.com Thank you so much!
