Ways to Help
Every animal who comes through our doors needs more than food and shelter. They need safety, medical care, patience, love, and someone willing to believe their next chapter can be better than their last.
Whether you can give time, supplies, skills, a temporary home, or financial support, you can make a real difference for homeless dogs and cats waiting for their forever families.
Adoption Specialist
With some training you can help us with pet adoptions, calling potential adopters references, getting vet references for the adopter, and helping find approved homes.
This can be done from home with a phone and computer.
Arts and Crafts or Graphic Design
If you love crafts, or making posters, we can use you to help make fliers and posters for events.
Making cat toys, dog toys, blankets and beds would be helpful too!
Assist at Adoption Events
Adoption events are normally held on weekends. We take a few of our animals for adoption, and we usually have an information table and sometime items for sale. We need help with the animals and running the table.
Assist at Community Outreach Events
We like to take some of our adoptable animals to local outreach events. We need help transporting animals to and from the event, and taking care of them durning the event.

Experienced foster family to help socialize animal while waiting for their forever home....

Grooming
If you have grooming experience, and can help making a pet feel special with a bath and new cut, we could really use your help. Sometime we get a sweet little thing that is a matted mess.
Holiday Helper
During the holidays we need to help wrapping gifts at local book stores.
Pet Photographer
We need help taking pictures of our animals! We usually need this help at least twice monthly or when we get new animals, so we can put cute pictures online.
Training
If you are a trainer, or have training experience, we could use your to help with training our animals.
Vet Runs
Help us by providing transportation of pets to and from local veterinarians for spay/neuter and shots. The need for this type of help is typically on weekdays during business hours.
Writing
We desperatly need help with writing. We put together a yearly newsletter and we can really use experienced help writing it. We also need help writting stories about our pets, and adding them to our varoius adoption sites.
